May I ask you for a review on how we performed? – all very good except that it took a month to get the correct size of glass doors after the wrong sized ones turned up on initial installation – good job it wasn’t winter or might have been having a different conversation. I appreciate this was an error at the factory. In response to my initial query– Paul fitted a locking handle to the outside of the door on the second visit which helps. We just need to solve the air gaps when the door is not sealed.
How were we from initial contact (were we polite)? – Paul and Ricky were very helpful, polite and knowledgeable – please pass on my thanks to them both.
Arranging installation (were we on time and on schedule) – Both visits on time for 08:00
Were we clean and tidy? – yes
And finally are you pleased with our doors (would you Recommend us)? – Yes –  I’m very pleased so far – look great and of good quality, feel solid and safe. I’ll know better though after a few months of constant use from the family…….. In terms of the competition – you are slightly more expensive than a traditional tri fold door. We decided to use you as we were already converts to glass curtains. And we needed the flexibility in the way your doors split and open. I think the majority of people need convincing for some reason.
I have an outstanding query ref the sealing of the doors when the handle has not been turned. Paul is developing an idea to help me – I’d really appreciate it if Paul can come back to me as soon as he can. The glass curtains are in constant use all day and my family are not good at going through the doors and then turning the handle to seal….. – Paul knows the details. In terms of making a difference – these glass curtains have replaced some single glazed glass curtains – and there is already a difference in the evening if the temp drops outside and we have them shut. Family getting used to them . Cat is freaked out by them, nobody has run into them yet….

We would like to say how pleased we are with our fabulous new FGC doors and conservatory.  We thought the transformation would be great, but it’s only once they’re in that we’ve been able to see the full glory of the design – and our view!  We’ve had all the making-good done now, taken off all the plastic film and the result is we have beautiful, draught-proof doors and a lovely, contemporary conservatory.
And we’d also like to say a sincere thank you to your installation team.  They were efficient, courteous and highly skilled – and, successfully, had to deal with more issues on-site than they (or we) expected!  We were extremely impressed by their professionalism and the finished article is, as above, fantastic.

We used FGC to manufacture and install frameless glass doors on all three sides of a large terrace bay. The design was complex and required a flexible and innovative approach to their existing designs. The result was outstanding – clear uninterrupted views over the countryside and a flexible opening pattern which allows fresh air no matter the weather. FGC worked well with the architects and builders on this major project and have provided a responsive and flexible after-care service. But they still need to improve their handle design!

Our innovative product has changed since we first started 11 years ago and is always evolving, we are always looking for ways to improve our design.

A strip of the furry trim at the top of the frame that the doors run on had come loose. On the one hand the sort of thing that one could have a go at fixing; on the other hand having witnessed the care and attention the FGC installation team do their work; I thought it best to leave it to them. Not an emergency, I contacted HQ FGC and asked that when a team were in the area could they give me 30min of their time. A fortnight later a team returning from Totnes spent 5min cutting a new trim in place, and a further 15min wiping down the frame, respraying the seals and the runners, and generally leaving the doors and the immediate area immaculate.
After sales service, first class.

We were recommended to use FGC by our builder and one of us visited a client who had recently had his installation. We have been hampered with delays regarding our lounge where the doors were being installed so it was refreshing to have FGC arrive at 8am and be finsihed installing and waiting for a sign off by 1pm. The work was quick efficient and faultless.
We would highly recommend the product and the service received! 10 out of 10!
