Installsure is part of The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF).  FGC is already a vetted and approved member of the GGF, the leading industry body for the glass and window industry.  Our Insurance backed guarantees to provide additional peace of mind when investing in your home with any of our products.

What does an Installsure Insurance Backed Guarantee mean for you?

When you buy any of our frameless bifolding doors or other products, we provide you with a guarantee as well as your FENSA registration paperwork.

Our Installsure Insurance Backed Guarantee protects you and your installation in the unlikely event of us ceasing to trade.  You already have our reassurance that our guarantee means we correct any legitimate faults with your product within our guarantee period.   Having an insurance backed guarantee means Installsure steps in for you.  By providing you with Insurance Backed Guarantees (IBGs), Installsure matches the cover for your guarantee period.  Please note an insurance backed guarantee does not apply to new building projects or new build extensions.

Importantly, having FENSA membership also means we are required to provide Insurance Backed Guarantees as part of our FENSA membership.

Therefore, as an established business, FGC protects your investment through membership of the Glass and Glazing Federation, FENSA membership as well as providing Insurance Backed Guarantees.

Installsure Insurance Backed Guarantee is part of  The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) of which we are also vetted and approved members. Part of this membership is the GGF routinely assessing our business, our processes as well as our financial health.

The small print on our Insurance Backed Guarantees.

Your guarantee and FENSA applies to replacement work only, where we replace your old glazing.  New builds and extensions are signed off by Building Control.

All installations are covered except Balustrades.

The Customer must reply to the requested information within 20 days of the installation in order for the FENSA certificate and IBG to be issued.


Cover provided by Installsure

In the event that the business fails during the lifetime of the guarantee, any issues normally recoverable under the terms of the guarantee can be the subject of an insurance claim in line with the policy terms. Cover for the contract value or £25,000, whichever is the lesser in value.

We love these doors and look forward to having them open a bit more once the patio has ben completed. They really have a "wow" factor and this becomes a double "wow" when people are shown how the corner can be completely opened up. It was about a year from my first enquiry to the doors being installed as there was a considerable amount of building work required to prepare the room. throughout this period I remained in touch with FGC and the service was exceptional. The installation team was on site for a day, starting early and working through to completion before driving back to Kent!! We have been really pleased with the standard of workmanship and even had compliments from other tradesmen working on the room (most of whom had never seen doors like this). These are expensive doors but the price difference from a normal set of bi-folds was well worth it for the uninterrupted view you get. The doors were installed in February but I have held off doing the review until the room was more finished so I could post a more representative picture. Once the patio is done the look will be even better than we originally envisaged. I have attached a few pictures of the room (the white table is only a temporary measure while we wait for the new coffee table).

Frameless Glass Curtains have few competitors so they could take a lax approach to their work. However, that is not the case. We have had a porch installed in a space that was not square or aligned. The service from survey to finish has been above standard. Barry’s attention to detail and determination that the work would not be complete until his high standards were met was much appreciated. The communication from the admin side was clear and helpful. So all in all we will be using Frameless Glass again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Brilliant product, what a difference, no frames to block our view of the Brecon Beacons. Ordered Crittal-style French doors in aluminium. The doors look fantastic and are so much better than the ancient sliding doors I had before. The company were very friendly and easy to deal with. From the beginning to the end, everyone at FGC have been amazing. I knew straight away that the glazing FGC would provide and install would be spectacular and how right that was! The FGC glazing allows our Edwardian stained glass door to still be a main feature and in fact it shows it off perfectly. The 2 sliding doors needed replacing, along with 2 side panels, and I contacted dozens of companies selling conservatory doors and none of them were prepared to install their doors because of the perceived risks of working with structural glass.Then I found FGC who, with no fuss at all, carried out a survey, provided a very reasonable quote for the doors/panels and then installed the doors/panels on the agreed date.Communication with the FGC office was always quick and easy. We had a 5m stretch of these wonderful doors installed several years ago and have been very happy with the uninterrupted view of the garden that they allow from the living room. They are admired by every tradesman who sees them.
