We love these doors and look forward to having them open a bit more once the patio has ben completed. They really have a "wow" factor and this becomes a double "wow" when people are shown how the corner can be completely opened up. It was about a year from my first enquiry to the doors being installed as there was a considerable amount of building work required to prepare the room. throughout this period I remained in touch with FGC and the service was exceptional. The installation team was on site for a day, starting early and working through to completion before driving back to Kent!! We have been really pleased with the standard of workmanship and even had compliments from other tradesmen working on the room (most of whom had never seen doors like this). These are expensive doors but the price difference from a normal set of bi-folds was well worth it for the uninterrupted view you get. The doors were installed in February but I have held off doing the review until the room was more finished so I could post a more representative picture. Once the patio is done the look will be even better than we originally envisaged. I have attached a few pictures of the room (the white table is only a temporary measure while we wait for the new coffee table).

Frameless Glass Curtains have few competitors so they could take a lax approach to their work. However, that is not the case. We have had a porch installed in a space that was not square or aligned. The service from survey to finish has been above standard. Barry’s attention to detail and determination that the work would not be complete until his high standards were met was much appreciated. The communication from the admin side was clear and helpful. So all in all we will be using Frameless Glass again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

From the beginning to the end, everyone at FGC have been amazing. I knew straight away that the glazing FGC would provide and install would be spectacular and how right that was! The FGC glazing allows our Edwardian stained glass door to still be a main feature and in fact it shows it off perfectly. Excellent service and product from FGC.I have a glass-box conservatory, built with structural glass about 20 years ago. The 2 sliding doors needed replacing, along with 2 side panels, and I contacted dozens of companies selling conservatory doors and none of them were prepared to install their doors because of the perceived risks of working with structural glass.Then I found FGC who, with no fuss at all, carried out a survey, provided a very reasonable quote for the doors/panels and then installed the doors/panels on the agreed date.Communication with the FGC office was always quick and easy. Regarding your service I would like to make the following comments
Web site, initial contact and service
My wife saw a product similar to FGC Glass Curtains whilst on holiday. After undertaking a lot of searching on the internet we came across FGC. FGC offered a product we could not find anywhere else, i.e. a true frameless glass product, no side borders, only the top and bottom running rails. The product looked as if you were looking through a single piece of glass. The web site reflects the quality and aesthetic of the products.
My initial phone call to Raie was to get an idea of what could be done and to check a few technical details in this respect she was most helpful and enabled us to plan the job. In the quote we subsequently received ( which met our requirements) was an offer to visit the factory in Kent. We live in the NW but decided to visit when we went down there on a few days holiday. It is worthwhile going to see the product in real life, Gary met us and told us about the Glass Curtains and showed us how the various combinations of door openings, colours, handles etc could be configured – there was no pressure selling at all.
We had to wait until some joinery work had been completed but Raie got a technician to visit and survey, we sent final measurements and agreed a time and date for installation. When FGC said they would do something they did on time and were very courteous.
Now having the ‘curtains installed we are both very happy with the new look and increased light in our living room. The effect is modern and gives the impression of a much bigger room.
A lesson I have learnt is that its best to dispense with a wooden surround for your new doors. This only takes up unnecessary space as the track can be fixed into brickwork. I think this would also help in installation, allowing FGC technicians to make the fine adjustments, always best to ask Raie for advice.
Finally all of the guys who visited were courteous and pleasant leaving no mess behind.
