FGC were very informative over the phone and were quick to arrange an appointment for us to see the doors at their showroom. They also gave a number of contacts for us to visit to view existing installations.
Installation
FGC installers arrived on time and completed the installation quickly and tidily. They were very polite and explained fully how to operate the doors before leaving. Some trim that was missing on the day of the installation was installed just a few days later.
Questions and concerns
Any questions that we had (e.g. Regarding contact switches) were dealt with fully at the time.
Our concern about the installation (doors not lining up with the steel) was followed up in a timely manner with a site visit from Gary who assured us everything was fine.
General
We are very happy with the doors and would recommend FCG.
Staff were always polite and courteous and it is obvious this is a company where customer service matters.

Delighted with final result and extremely pleased that I decided on these ‘frameless glass doors’ over conventional bifolds. The company had no end of patience with any pre-order questions that I raised and the factory visit and visit to view an existing installation were very informative and reassuring.
The team that fitted were professional, attentive and extremely competent and the final result excellent and much admired. Thank you. I would not hesitate to recommend the company.

We are both delighted with the FGC product and have no issues with any future viewings.
From our perspective the “outside has truly come inside”, we use the decking on a daily basis as the FGC curtains have transformed the house which I think adds a significant value to the property.
The only trouble now is that when we see home improvement programs such as Grand Designs where they suggest using bi-fold doors we end up shouting at the TV saying “use Frameless Glass Curtains instead”!
We are in the process of re-decoration and once that is complete we will ping over the pictures for your portfolio.

A brief note to thank you for your services in supplying two sets of doors and two fixed panels.
From the start of contact with your company you have been very professional and communication has been excellent.
The panels now installed look amazing and appearance when compared with usual bi folds or other types of door has to be seen. There is no comparison!
The product is expensive but price should not be compared with other types of doors as the solution is completely different. The statement getting what you pay for is particularly appropriate.

I have to say that although I was not on site to see the finished result, the photographs of the work is remarkable and to add to that compliment, our master builder Chris Seviour reported back to me yesterday that he was so impressed with your team and with the final result.
Thank you all for such a tremendous job – I’m hoping to have an article written in Country Living about the house later this year and I will certainly mention you guys!

As to how we were from initial contact (were we polite)?
Staff were polite and prompt in answering telephone questions.
There were technical problems with our installation and staff were open and discussed options and were polite. The fitters were surprised at the distance they had to travel to reach us each time, although we had explained where we lived prior to proceeding with the installation to check whether the company would be happy to fit in our area. The fitters were tired and somewhat grumpy when they arrived each time, but then went on to do a good job.
Arranging installation (were we on time and on schedule)
There were delays prior to fitting, and then delays in arranging the corrections needed due to a technical error, but once dates were set they were kept.
Were we clean and tidy?
Yes inside the house. We had to clear metal shavings outside the house.
And finally are you pleased with our doors (would you Recommend us)?
We are pleased with the doors. They are stylish and provide flexibility in the home as we wished. We were hoping for better sound insulation, so if other enquirers need sound insulation within the home we would recommend they have double glazed internal frameless doors rather than the single glazing that we bought.
We would recommend the company and the product.

Dealing with FGC has been a straightforward and hassle free experience from start to finish.
I had several queries long before placing an order and FGC were always prompt and helpful with the responses. Then at site survey time they attended on time, with courtesy calls leading up to the appointment to keep me advised, the surveyors were very knowledgeable and again helpful. This gave me great confidence that I’d made the right choice by selecting FGC.
I needed to change the installation date numerous times because of my delays at site and they accommodated me without any hassle. I am absolutely delighted with the product which was installed with precision and care.
I would have no hesitation in recommending FGC to anyone that is looking for an outstanding “wow” factor product from a company with “wow” factor customer service.

How did we advise you on first contact? I was constructing a new extension and FGC were very helpful and understanding of the nature of the project. Updates to the original design (like addition of an extra door) were accomodated easily and efficiently
Installation – were the installers polite and did they clean and tidy up afterwards? All polite and as clean as necessary, although given the site was a work in progress with other builders / materials around there was limited tidying required. Having said that, subsequent visits to rememdy teething issues have been also very efficient and tidy.
Are you pleased with our frameless glass curtains? Yes and they are hugely popular with friends / guests when visiting.
Would you recommend us to other people? Yes – and I have done so on several occasions already
Do you have any advice for us? Keep up the good work … and keep innovating.
