We are absolutely delighted with our frameless glass doors. They have transformed our living area in terms of light and space, giving a contemporary feel.
The whole process has been very efficient and the fitters who came to install the doors were excellent.

We first saw FGC at the Grand Designs exhibition in the autumn of last year (2019). We have had frameless glass doors and windows fitted to our house extension and they look fabulous from inside and outside, and make the rooms extremely light. Opening these doors is quick and easy. Initial contact
FGC were very informative over the phone and were quick to arrange an appointment for us to see the doors at their showroom. They also gave a number of contacts for us to visit to view existing installations. Installation
FGC installers arrived on time and completed the installation quickly and tidily.… They were very polite and explained fully how to operate the doors before leaving. Some trim that was missing on the day of the installation was installed just a few days later. Questions and concerns
Any questions that we had (e.g. Regarding contact switches) were dealt with fully at the time.
Our concern about the installation (doors not lining up with the steel) was followed up in a timely manner with a site visit from Gary who assured us everything was fine. General

Initial emails were very prompt, informative and positive and yes polite. Keen to accommodate our visit to the workshop and everyone very friendly.

Yes, the work area was left clean and work completed to a good standard.

As it happens, we are still sadly not in the house. We should be however at the end of February which will be great! I can however pretty much respond to the below as I have been able to test the doors. 1. Your performance was excellent from what has been reported by the builders.… They mentioned that you were happy to leave you to complete the work and had no problems. They did unfortunately give you a wrong height for the doors meaning their is a little lip on both inside an outside but I can live with that and it is not your fault! With respect to dealing with me – I have been very happy with the service (although I haven’t yet been sent the additional rubber bits agreed) and you sent a copy of the keys promptly after they had not been left in the doors. 2. With regards to the doors – they look great and they slide beautifully … or at least the 1 door I have tried does. The only issue at the moment is that we are protecting them with sheets in front so I cannot exactly see them in all their glory … soon I hope! With regards to the review, I can write a more complete one when the guys are finished – the question re tidiness is not one I could answer as it is a building site and very messy beforehand so hard to notice additional mess! Joking aside, I’m waiting works to be finished to send you an unbiased review (which I’m sure will be positive) and also to include some nice photos that I would be more than happy for you to display on your website. Regarding your service I would like to make the following comments Web site, initial contact and service My wife saw a product similar to FGC Glass Curtains whilst on holiday. After undertaking a lot of searching on the internet we came across FGC. FGC offered a product we could not find anywhere else, i.e. a… true frameless glass product, no side borders, only the top and bottom running rails. The product looked as if you were looking through a single piece of glass. The web site reflects the quality and aesthetic of the products. My initial phone call to Raie was to get an idea of what could be done and to check a few technical details in this respect she was most helpful and enabled us to plan the job. In the quote we subsequently received ( which met our requirements) was an offer to visit the factory in Kent. We live in the NW but decided to visit when we went down there on a few days holiday. It is worthwhile going to see the product in real life, Gary met us and told us about the Glass Curtains and showed us how the various combinations of door openings, colours, handles etc could be configured – there was no pressure selling at all. We had to wait until some joinery work had been completed but Raie got a technician to visit and survey, we sent final measurements and agreed a time and date for installation. When FGC said they would do something they did on time and were very courteous. Now having the ‘curtains installed we are both very happy with the new look and increased light in our living room. The effect is modern and gives the impression of a much bigger room. A lesson I have learnt is that its best to dispense with a wooden surround for your new doors. This only takes up unnecessary space as the track can be fixed into brickwork. I think this would also help in installation, allowing FGC technicians to make the fine adjustments, always best to ask Raie for advice. After researching the market for a contemporary sliding minimal frame patio door, we were delighted to come across Frameless Glass Curtains. We were so pleased with the doors we ordered another set for the dining room and were not let down – the service we received was consistently good from staff both in and out… of the office. From the start they have been knowledgeable, polite and happy to spend time helping us with our queries. From ordering to installation they kept us informed and kept to realistic deadlines, managing our expectations well. During installation they were on schedule, prompt, respectful, clean, tidy, and cleaned up after themselves. After sales service has been excellent. We are happy if people would like to come and see the product in situ provided it doesn’t prove too onerous.

We are delighted with our FGC doors even though the construction of the room is still not yet completed – friends and family visiting our new Garden Room are all commenting vey positively on how amazing the doors look. With the beautiful summer we are having, it is a real pleasure to be able to… open up the whole of the front of the room, enjoy the garden and let in the warm summer breeze. From that first phone I knew I had found the product and the company! We wanted an internal glass partition and a bespoke fit. I can not fault the FGC team and most importantly the doors! We love our new Frameless Glass Curtains. We had a few delays on our project and adjusting the install date was never any problem for FGC.

How did we advise you on first contact? I was constructing a new extension and FGC were very helpful and understanding of the nature of the project. Updates to the original design (like addition of an extra door) were accomodated easily and efficiently Installation – were the installers polite and did they clean and tidy… up afterwards? All polite and as clean as necessary, although given the site was a work in progress with other builders / materials around there was limited tidying required. Having said that, subsequent visits to rememdy teething issues have been also very efficient and tidy. Are you pleased with our frameless glass curtains?
