Black Steel look frameless screen.
This contemporary internal door and screen set are specially designed for an interior refurbishment project. We worked with our client, creating and capturing the aesthetics and style of classic steel windows and doors. The design features two distinctive products. One screen has a single opening door, opening inwards, with a large side return screen. The other screen has the door in the central position with a fixed screen either side.
First of all, we take our advanced glass and metal fixings system. We re-engineer it, replicating the slim lines and thin proportions synonymous with of old metal doors and windows. The components such as the frame, door components and horizontal glazing bars are powder coated in a matt black finish. Black remains the most popular colour for this design of interior glazing.
Then, we take the components and build the screen around toughened glass units. The lower panels use sandblasted glass, giving obscurity to the lower part of the screen, yet with no compromise on light coming into the new room.
The door leaf uses our reliable patch fitting system, letting the door open and close smoothly and reliably. the leaf has one part of the traditional style lock, engaging with the keep on the middle fixed panel. Therefore, the system remains reliable while using the minimum of components.

Best of all for interior screens, there is no threshold at all. As a result, this design of internal steel look frameless screen is perfect for inside the home. Above all our system remains better than other types of internal steel-replacement screens. Most other systems rely on external windows and doors installed inside the home.
