Wonderful

We had 3 sets of doors installed in April. We had searched far and wide for bifold doors and those supplied by FGC were undoubtedly the most striking. We have had favourable comments from visitors and the doors are functioning well. Our dealings with FGC have been excellent and they have attended since the installation to make some adjustments. Although this is an expensive product, it looks stunning and has performed well. FGC worked closely with our builder and this ensured a straightforward installation. I would not hesitate to recommend the firm and the doors.

I would like to reiterate that we are very pleased with our new FGC doors. As a Chartered Building Surveyor I was impressed with the installers who were careful, methodical and very professional my wife who is most particular was also very impressed with their cleanliness.
I am sure we will get many years of use from this wonderful addition to our home.

I have already provided a review of your product and company but just to add to that we had a couple of minor scratches on the glass doors and the gentleman who came out to sort them out was very professional clean and tidy and did an excellent job.
The true test of a good company is when things go wrong (which they inevitably do ) they return and resolve the issue quickly and without fuss.

As to how we were from initial contact (were we polite)?
 
Initial contact was great!  You may remember that we first visited one of your existing customers in Henley.  I honestly can’t remember the ladies name but she was really helpful, was happy to invite us round the next evening and was clearly delighted with the finished product.  We subsequently (next weekend) arranged to come over to your manufacturing site and spent some time with Paul who explained in more detail how the product was conceived, how you manufactured, the options available and the process going forward.  All really helpful, friendly and informative.  We left knowing the whilst your product is roughly 2x the cost of “bog standard” bi-fold doors, in reality there is really no comparison.  All the people we’ve shown so far have been blown away with the installation and at the moment they don’t look as good as they will with a finished floor and finished patio.
 
Arranging installation (were we on time and on schedule)
 
Installation was really simple – you and your team worked really well with my builder – Mike Nash @ BCS.  We needed to delay the originally agreed upon date due to some extra worked required to install steels etc.  Your team were able to flex the install date and work seamlessly with our builder to get the doors installed.  Our builder commented how slick your team was installing the product.  He’s so impressed I think it’s a feature he may well recommend to future clients working on similar projects.
 
Were we clean and tidy?
 
As clean and tidy as you can be on a proper building site!!
 
And finally are you pleased with our doors (would you Recommend us)?
 
We’re delighted.  Obviously we’re not living with the door yet, but we’ve been over a few times and played opening and closing them.  They look great in the building site location and we know they’ll look and work even better once we’re complete and decorated.  I’m happy to update this section in April once we’ve been in for a while and happy to take some photos once we’re decorated and have the outside landscaping complete.  I think they’ll look really special then!

Great!  I think the lady who acted as a reference site in Henley told us that you’d really looked after her in terms of after-sales service and this also sold us on the product and company.

Contacted Frameless Glass Curtains (FGC) to have the existing wooden doors into the lounge and dining rooms of our home replaced with clear glass. The reasons being twofold, firstly being to open up the hallway and secondly to make the most of the natural light that floods the rear of our south-facing property.
Having taken time to investigate the market, we down-selected FGC to undertake the work; our decision being fully vindicated by the quality of the end result and the service received from FGC throughout. From the service delivered, FGC is clearly a family company, which has managed to maintain the family values and personal feel to its customer service and product delivery.
Cannot fault either the service or workmanship delivered by Frameless Glass Curtains, with the end result far exceeding our already high expectations. Accordingly, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to our family, friends and colleagues; fully acknowledging a job very well done indeed.

It is a good time to say to you that while we still very much the windows, the ease of opening, the views closed or open, now that the weather has turned colder we have been struck quick dramatically by the improvement in insulation.  The large windows here that you/we have replaced were double glazed but quite tired – more than we knew it would seem.  The whole house has benefitted greatly from your magic.
I must give a thank you to all your team that we have come into contact with, they show the company in a very positive light, and have been unfailingly helpful.  A mention to your Stowmarket customer, a committed fan who was patient, open and very helpful to us.

Yes we are very pleased with the doors and would recommend them. Initial contact was done by our neighbour at Kingswood so cannot comment, however, the price we were initially quoted was incorrect and significantly lower than it turned out to be. Not sure why. We at Derwent only had a verbal quotation. The installation was carried out on time, very politely. Unfortunately as you know the handle broke and no spare. Reasonably clean. For 5 star review note that the paintwork on the front door and window sills does become coated with dust from the drilling and a 5 second wipe down would have enhanced the finished job. We did not receive any official acknowledgement of my initial cheque. So in summary, good product but admin could be improved.
