We have had our corner installation for about 2 years now and they are the biggest wow factor of the house (the view’s not too bad either😊). The summer is great with truly indoor/outdoor living. The biggest surprise has been the amazing aftercare we’ve received from FGC. They are so patient as it’s often a case of us just learning about the doors. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and would definitely use them again – their doors are timeless.

Just a note to let you know how delighted we are with the sliding folding glazed panels installed by your firm at the rear of our house. Friends come into our kitchen now and are just amazed at how the same space has been transformed and opened up, simply by the addition of your glazed… panels, providing a panoramic view looking out onto the garden. During warm summer days it was (and still is) such a joy to slide and park the panels to one side, bringing the garden into the kitchen dining area. We have a separate dining room in the house also, but haven’t in fact used it since the day your windows were installed! Nobody wants to leave the newly created bright space with a full view of the garden and changing seasons, now almost making the other living rooms redundant. Downside is that I now have to labour away and keep the garden trim, tidy and colourful every weekend! I must also take this opportunity to remark on the efficiency with which the panels were installed by two of your very pleasant and cheerful fitters, who arrived at exactly the appointed time on the agreed date as advised when we first ordered the panels. They worked diligently, ensuring the panels were up and running in the shortest possible time, all as per the agreed time schedule and budget, and left the place spotless on completion. I’m quite sure that the overall effect, backed up by our enthusiastic demonstations of how they work, will result in a few more additions to your order book! Re delivery, there was an initial hope that you might be earlier than the 6-8 week lead time, but once that wasn’t going to happen, you gave us a date, and were then able to bring it forward a couple of days to fit around our holiday schedule, which was great. Guys turned up at… 8am as expected. Your guys were clean and tidy. I love the doors and think they are great. I would definitely recommend them. Wonderful product and great service
Following the installation of our new FGC porch, I wanted to give a recommendation for the excellent and diligent service, and wonderful product we received from FGC. Numerous people have commented since we had the work done, and it has clearly added value – both visually and financially – to our property. Also, when the… guys came to fit the product, it was noted that there was a slight flaw in one of the specially shaped pieces of glass which to be honest I didn’t even spot. They noted this, informed us, left the porch in a fitted but completely safe and usable state, they then remanufactured a replacement piece and arranged a special visit (a 300+ mile round trip) to come and refit the part in question. Fantastic aftercare service!
I had an installation of 4 doors in December 2018. During the cold snap in January this year the outside glass handle cracked. I contacted Sara in customer support and the handle was replaced free of charge by Liam and Alf who did the job quickly and professionally. They also checked that all the doors… were running correctly. I would highly recommend this Company for the quality of the product and their Customer Service Thanks and well done to all involved. Small maintenance issue
We had a small issue with the opening door, we contacted FGC and they arranged for a team to come. They sorted the issue very quickly then cleaned the runners and door seals, fully tested the operation of the doors and carried an additional mod on the door handle. “Visiting the FGC factory before a site viewing was the best decision we made. Very few of the reviewers make any mention of the apparent simplicity that disguises the cleverness and ingenuity in this way of dealing with a large size glazed opening. At the factory the finer details behind the design were explained, and… the level of engineering precision became apparent. A later site viewing and meeting an existing owner only further confirmed what we had seen at the factory, and reinforced our belief that FGC was absolutely the only product suitable for this house. Since the installation, a dramatic improvement in insulation and noise attenuation was immediately apparent when the window is closed, but the ease with which the window can be opened up and stowed discreetly to one side is quite breath taking and magical. If you have considered FGC and have read this far, I urge you to contact them and see for yourself this brilliant design.
